We are a young association still in its formative years; ARDENZ has the potential to grow into a vibrant national body of professionals, with a passion to promote the Hotel Front Office, as an exciting, challenging, rewarding career option, while maintaining the highest standard of personal service and care.

A key focus will be the ‘Receptionist of the Year’ competition, followed by establishing regional networks into regional branches, and setting up communication bases to create a working and supportive association at both regional and national levels.

Each section will be responsible for arranging meetings and providing opportunities for the members in their area, as well as national and international opportunities as they become available.

Membership to ARDENZ, also gets you membership to AICR - Amicale Internationale des Sous-Directeurs et Chefs de Réception des Grands Hôtels, more commonly known as The International Association of Deputy Managers and Reception heads of Luxury Hotels.

The AICR was founded in 1964, over the past 43 years has developed into an international organisation represented in over 16 countries and continuing to grow. It now provides Front Office Managers with an invaluable network offering:
• A friendly and professional support mechanism.
• Exchange of views, information and experiences.
• Forwarding of reservations making it easier for guests to move to an unknown hotel.
• The best young International receptionist of the year competition.
• Recruitment and ways to attract more staff into the industry.

ARDENZ Membership is open to the following persons:

• Any person  holding a position with management responsibilities within the Rooms division of a hotel of 3½ Star rating or higher

 

• Any other person holding a position deemed by the Executive Committee to be equivalent to those mentioned in the foregoing and having the requisite professional experience
